As fully equipped jungle resort, Motel Chandan has evolved with Kanha and its tourism. A small number of tourists visited the preserve during the seventies. They found succor at Chandan Motel as the resort is named. This was the first hotel accommodation venture at the Kanha National Park.

Kissu Chacha had a vision that nurtured tiger tourism & the tourists in times whence no private lodges offered lodging. (Stay was possible at the forest rest house with prior bookings). The vision turned into a reality. The budget property is a full fledged resort, well equipped for cozy accommodation and dining.
